The Medved/ Drive Smart Suzuki Grand Vitara

Medved had a busy weekend and if you didn’t get to see us out and about, then we’re sorry we missed you.

On Saturday, we made our way into the Evergreen Rodeo Parade.  You may have seen our Drive Smart Suzuki Grand Vitara, black Chevy Camaro SS convertible, or our huge Chevy 3500 Silverado truck rocking the Duramax Diesel engine (which hauled barrels in the Rodeo all weekend.)

Rodeo: Supplied a truck (get exact model info from manager) to move barrels around. This is the second year Medved has proudly sponsored the Evergreen Parade and Rodeo.

After the festivities in Evergreen, we made our way over the Golden Museum’s Summer Solstice Music Festival which offered a great mix of local bluegrass artists and jazz.  Downtown Golden offered the perfect venue and setting on a warm summer’s eve.

Summer solstice music fest- brought the Suzuki out but had a good time supporting the Golden History Museums and taking in some great local bluegrass music and enjoying downtown Golden.

In between our time at the rodeo and music festival, we made time to stop by and check out some classic cars at the Colorado Camaro Club’s 29th Annual Classic Car Show.  We had the chance to see some of Colorado’s most beautiful cars, including a long line of Camaros and Corvettes.  We had the chance to pick a winner for the Medved Trophy, which is awarded to the best car. We chose a beautifully restored 1958 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster with twin headlamps.

Note: Not the 1958 Corvette, but a beautiful 1963 Corvette.

On Sunday, the Medved family arose bright and early for the 1st, and hopefully not the last, Guanella Pass Hillclimb.  We loved testing our amateur pace-car skills along with 460 riders of all ages.  The 12 mile climb was the first chance for bike enthusiasts to see the newly paved 12 miles that wind through the pristine mountainside.

We were particularly excited to show-off our newly wrapped adaptive sports MV-1 as it rode alongside our Drive Smart Suzuki Grand Vitara, Cadillac SRX, and Chevrolet Volt. Thanks to everyone who stopped and chatted with us, especially about the MV-1 and Volt.

This whole weekend was busy, but we loved being out and about, because we take pride in being more than a dealership.  We are proud to be involved in many events in Colorado.

If you have an event you would like us to participate in, please don’t to hesitate to get in touch.  Contact us through our website or submit a sponsorship request HERE.
